Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) has a mission to reduce the spread of
HIV disease, help people with HIV maintain and improve their health and independence, and keep
the prevention, treatment and cure of HIV an urgent national and local priority. GMHC also fights
homophobia and affirms the individual dignity of all gay men and lesbians.
Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation identifies, funds and
conducts critical pediatric research that will lead to better treatments and prevention of HIV
infection in infants and children, to reduce and prevent HIV transmission from mother to child
and to accelerate the discovery of new treatments for other serious and life-threatening
pediatric diseases.
The Latino Commission on AIDS is dedicated to improving and expanding
health promotion, research, treatment and other services to the Latino community through organizing,
education, model program development, capacity building and training.
National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC) develops leadership within
communities of color to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS. NMAC provides training and technical
assistance on treatment issues.
Project Inform provides vital information on the diagnosis and treatment
of HIV disease, advocates for enlightened regulatory, research, and funding policies and inspires
people to make informed choices and to choose hope over despair.

Directory of Associations of People Living with HIV/AIDS, published by the U.S. Agency for
International Development, is a global directory, which lists more than 150 global, regional
and local associations of people living with HIV/AIDS.
The Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (GNP+) is a global
network for and by people with HIV/AIDS working to improve the quality of life of people
living with HIV/AIDS.
National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS (NAPWA) advocates
on behalf of all people living with HIV and AIDS in order to end the pandemic and the human
suffering caused by HIV/AIDS.
