ANSA founder Alfre Woodard appointed to President's Committee on Arts and the Humanities

Artists for a New South Africa congratulates our founder Alfre Woodard on being appointed by President Barack Obama to his Committee on Arts and the Humanities, along with longtime ANSA supporters Forest Whitaker and Andy Spahn as well as Bryan Lourd of Creative Artists Agency, which has hosted ANSA events and supported ANSA for many years.

Other well known names on the Committee include Yo Yo Ma, Sarah Jessica Parker, Anna Wintour,Teresa Heinz, Edward Norton, Kerry Washington, and Victoria Kennedy.  First lady Michelle Obama is the honorary chair.

We trust they will all do great things.
